Scope of acreditation:

Laboratory is competent to perform testing in accordance with the requirements of standard LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025 in the following spheres: testing of agricultural, forestry, wood processing, road building and other related machinery also testing of work environment parametrs- lighting, vibration, noice, also testing noice and vibration emited form equipment using mechanical and physical parametres.

Basic principles of laboratory

Testing laboratory is responsible for testing performance in accordance with the requirements of standard LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025 and satisfaction of the needs and requirements of customers, authorities or recognizing organizations. Laboratory acts as independent laboratory and guarantees the impartiality and confidentiality. In accordance with the specialized sector documentation, depending on the equipment type and measurement method or on the request from the customers, testing laboratory offers standard methods related to accreditation sphere, as well as depending on customers’ desire - methods recognized in Europe, Latvia, Russia and CIS.

Customer pays for work in accordance with the calculation by the amount of performed work and concluded contract accompanied with testing programme. Customer receives testing results in the form of test report.

Main fields of the activity of laboratory:

1. Complex testing of machinery and equipment (machinery type examination under Cabinet Regulations No 195).
2. Measurement of noise emitted by machinery and equipment (declaration in line with Cabinet regulations No 195).
3. Measurement of noise emitted by equipment used outdoors (declaration and surveillance in line with Cabinet regulations No 163).
4. Measurement of noise level in operator workplace or working area (evaluation of risks caused by noise in accordance with Cabinet regulations No 66) and of noise level in territories (evaluation of environmental noise in accordance with Cabinet Regulations N0 597-598).
5. Measurement of vibration level transmitted to human hands (evaluation of the risks caused by vibration in accordance with Cabinet Regulations No 284).
6. Testing of the lighting level, dust concentration in the air of workplace or area, parameters of indoor climate and other parameters of working environment (evaluation of risks from working environment in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No 379).
